The Ministry of Manpower reported that throughout 2025, sales and marketing roles dominate the demand in Indonesia’s labor market. With a total of 72,511 job openings, this profession ranks at the top due to its crucial role in driving business growth across various sectors through effective marketing and sales strategies.
In addition, several other positions also show high demand, including production operators, finance and accounting staff, and office administration staff.
A new trend is also emerging with the rising demand for live streaming hosts. This role ranks seventh among the most in-demand jobs, with over 10,000 openings throughout the year. This phenomenon is closely tied to the rapid growth of the digital economy and the increasing use of live e-commerce as a marketing strategy.
